Mahindra Group Names Delnaz Desai as Vice President and Group Talent Head

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2026 — Delnaz Desai has joined Mahindra Group as Vice President – Group Talent Head, taking responsibility for leading the enterprise talent management agenda across the Group.

In her new leadership role, Desai will focus on employer branding, talent attraction and retention, employee development, leadership capability and building the talent ecosystem needed to support growth across Mahindra’s diverse portfolio of businesses.

Two Decades of HR and Talent Experience

Desai brings around 20 years of experience in human resources and talent leadership, with expertise spanning talent management, HR business partnering, leadership development, succession planning, organisational effectiveness, culture and employee engagement.

Before joining Mahindra Group, she served as Talent Lead & HR Business Partner, AMEA Snacks (Pringles) at Kellanova, based in Singapore. In that role, she partnered with the regional leadership team on talent, leadership capability, culture and engagement, while also leading region-wide capability-building and talent acquisition excellence initiatives.

Senior HR Roles at Kellanova and Kellogg

Desai’s association with Kellanova and Kellogg Company included several senior HR assignments.

At Kellogg Company, she served as Senior Associate Director – Talent & Corporate HR, Associate Director – Corporate HR and Associate Director – Sales HR. Her responsibilities included corporate HR partnering, strengthening talent acquisition, developing succession pipelines, advancing equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and delivering leadership development and employee engagement programmes.

Experience Across Vodafone and Maersk

Earlier in her career, Desai worked with Vodafone Idea Limited as HR Business Partner, Marketing, following nearly three years with Vodafone as GM – Business HR.

At Vodafone, she led HR for a workforce of approximately 700 employees and worked across inclusion, capability building, succession planning, managerial development and retention.

Her earlier career also included talent and regional HR leadership assignments with Maersk Line, where she supported commercial and operations functions across different geographies.

Career Beginnings at Wipro

Desai began her professional career with Wipro Technologies, where she served as Assistant Manager – Leadership Hiring.

Her responsibilities included leadership and niche hiring, resourcing and manpower planning for global accounts, giving her an early foundation in talent acquisition and workforce planning.

New Talent Mandate at Mahindra Group

At Mahindra Group, Desai will bring together her experience in enterprise talent strategy and business-focused HR leadership to support the Group’s broader people agenda.

Her appointment places talent attraction, development, leadership capability and retention at the centre of her new mandate as Mahindra Group continues to build the talent ecosystem required to support its diverse businesses.

Desai holds an MBA in Human Resources from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Her move to Mahindra Group marks the next chapter of a career spanning two decades across talent management, HR leadership and organisational development.
