Karishma Rane Takes on Corporate Communications Leadership Role at Godrej Properties

Karishma Rane has joined Godrej Properties Limited as Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Corporate Communications, based in Mumbai. She moves into the role following a four-year tenure at Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate, where she led corporate communications and worked on strengthening the company’s reputation and stakeholder relationships.

Rane Joins Godrej Properties

Rane announced her move on LinkedIn, describing her time at Shapoorji Pallonji as “truly enriching.” She also expressed excitement about joining Godrej Properties and said she is looking forward to “new challenges, new opportunities and creating meaningful impact” in her next chapter.

Her appointment adds an experienced communications professional to Godrej Properties’ corporate communications function, with her previous experience spanning corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications.

Over 17 Years of Communications Experience

Rane brings more than 17 years of experience across communications and public relations. Before joining Godrej Properties, she spent four years at Shapoorji Pallonji Real Estate.

Earlier in her career, she held roles at Adfactors PR, Weber Shandwick India and Beehive Communications, working across sectors including real estate, FMCG and other business portfolios.

Throughout her career, Rane has developed expertise in corporate communications, brand building, narrative development and strategic communications. Her experience has involved working across different business environments and communication mandates, giving her exposure to both corporate reputation and brand-led storytelling.
