Siddharth Meherkar Takes on National HR – Channels Role at Mahindra & Mahindra

Siddharth Meherkar has joined Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. as National HR – Channels, based in Mumbai, bringing more than 15 years of experience across human resources and business partnering roles. Extensive HR Experience

Meherkar began his career with Wilo Mather and Platt Pumps in 2009 before joining Survik Software as a Recruitment Executive in 2010.

He subsequently moved to Future Value Retail, where he worked as Senior Executive – Human Resources for nearly three years.

In 2013, Meherkar joined Mahindra Finance as Deputy Manager – HR. During his nearly nine-year tenure, he progressed to Manager – HR and later State Head – Human Resources, handling HR operations and business support within the financial services sector.

Experience Across Multiple Sectors

In 2022, Meherkar joined Poonawalla Fincorp as Zonal HR – West and later took on the role of National Lead HRBP for Collection and Support Functions. His responsibilities included HR support for Collections, Credit, Risk, Finance, Legal and IT, along with responsibilities across the West Zone.

In 2023, he moved to Reliance Jio Infocomm as HR Business Partner – Lead Talent Management & Operations for the Mumbai Circle.

He later took charge of the Maharashtra Circle, where he supported more than 7,000 employees through a 12-member HRBP team. His career experience spans telecom, financial services, retail, software and industrial sectors.

Meherkar holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunications from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

His return to the Mahindra Group marks another step in a career spanning HR operations, talent management and business partnering across large organisations.
