Ronitaa Italia Takes the Creative Helm at 1838

Ronitaa Italia has joined Bennett Coleman & Co. (BCCL) as Creative Head – 1838, bringing more than 25 years of experience across content, design, lifestyle and media.

Italia joins BCCL from Worldwide Media, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of GoodHomes and Home and Design Trends. Her career has spanned editorial leadership and content roles across design, lifestyle and media.

Earlier, Italia served as Consulting Editor – Design & Decor at STIRworld and Director of Content at Ogaan Publications. She has also held editorial positions at GoodHomes, The Ideal Home & Garden and Hindustan Times.

Leading Creative Expression at 1838

In her new role, Italia will lead the creative expression of 1838 across print, digital storytelling and events. Her mandate will extend across art, design and cultural experiences, brand intellectual properties and luxury exhibitions.

She will also focus on developing a community around 1838, bringing together cultural tastemakers and creative entrepreneurs.

With her extensive experience across content, design and lifestyle publishing, Italia’s appointment adds a seasoned editorial and creative perspective to 1838 as it builds its presence across print, digital and experiential platforms.
