In his LinkedIn post announcing the move, Tiwari said he was starting a new position as Chief Product and Marketing Officer at BharatPe.

His new role brings together responsibility for two closely connected functions – product and marketing – placing him at the intersection of customer experience, product development and market positioning.

Nearly Six Years at Paytm

Before joining BharatPe, Tiwari spent nearly six years at Paytm, where he held product leadership responsibilities and rose to the position of Senior Vice President of Product.

His tenure at Paytm forms a significant part of his more than decade-long career in the technology and digital payments ecosystem.

Experience with Paytm Payments Bank and Facebook

Tiwari also spent around three years with Paytm Payments Bank, gaining experience within the company’s banking and financial services operations.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Facebook, now Meta, for just over a year. His professional experience therefore spans digital platforms, payments and financial technology.

Product and Marketing at BharatPe

As CPMO, Tiwari will take on a role combining product and marketing leadership at BharatPe. His background in product management and experience across digital payments gives him a foundation for the new mandate.

The appointment marks the latest step in Tiwari’s career across India’s technology and fintech ecosystem, following more than a decade of experience that includes leadership roles at Paytm, Paytm Payments Bank and Facebook.
