Ault Brings Two Decades of Revenue and Go-to-Market Experience

Ault brings more than 20 years of experience spanning revenue leadership, strategic partnerships, corporate development and go-to-market strategy across global markets.

Before joining WSO2, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at SambaNova Systems, an AI inference chip technology company. In that role, he led the organisation’s global sales, marketing, field engineering and global support functions.

Throughout his career, Ault has built experience in driving above-market growth, leading M&A integrations and scaling go-to-market strategies across multiple industries.

WSO2 Strengthens Leadership Team

Ault’s appointment follows a year of leadership expansion at WSO2, which has also appointed a new Chief Financial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer as the company builds its senior leadership team for its next phase of growth.

The company is advancing its vision for Trusted AI Governance, bringing together API management, integration, identity, engineering and agent platforms through the WSO2 Agentic Enterprise Fabric (AEF). The platform is designed to extend governance to AI agents as well as the underlying foundation on which they operate.

Focus on AI-Driven Enterprise Transformation

Commenting on his appointment, Harry Ault, CEO of WSO2, said the company has spent more than two decades building its platform and has developed a customer base of more than 700 enterprise organisations.

Ault said organisations transitioning into AI-driven, agentic enterprises require trusted open-source technology that can help them manage the transformation with speed and control while avoiding additional complexity.

He also highlighted plans to deepen WSO2’s engagement with the open-source community, expand its global partner ecosystem and increase the company’s value to customers and developers.

Leadership Transition

Ault succeeds Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana, WSO2’s Founder and former CEO, who stepped down from the position in May 2026.

During the transition, Devaka Randeniya, WSO2’s Chief Revenue Officer, served as Acting CEO. Randeniya will continue to work closely with Ault as he assumes his new responsibilities.

The leadership change comes as WSO2 positions its technology and executive organisation to support the growing adoption of AI and agentic enterprise architectures.
