Hassan Awada Appointed Senior Executive Officer at PATRIZIA

PATRIZIA, a global investment manager specialising in real assets, has appointed Hassan Awada as Senior Executive Officer (SEO), MENA. Based in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the international financial centre of the UAE’s capital, Awada will lead the continued growth of PATRIZIA’s business across the MENA region.

Leading PATRIZIA’s MENA Business

In his new role, Awada will focus on deepening relationships with institutional investors and strategic partners across the region. He will also support access to PATRIZIA’s international real assets investment platform.

The appointment strengthens PATRIZIA’s presence in the Middle East as the company continues to develop its regional relationships and investment activities.

More Than Two Decades of Investment Experience

Awada brings more than 20 years of experience advising institutional investors across the investment lifecycle, including origination, structuring, execution and asset management.

Before joining PATRIZIA, he held senior positions at Kroll, Cornerstone Capital, Gleacher Shacklock, PwC and EY, building experience across investment advisory and financial services.

Focus on Institutional Investor Relationships

Konrad Finkenzeller, Head of Client Division at PATRIZIA, said the Middle East remains a key strategic region for the firm, with continued demand from investors for direct exposure to global real estate and infrastructure opportunities.

He added that Awada’s appointment would strengthen PATRIZIA’s local presence and support deeper relationships with regional investors while connecting them with the firm’s global investment platform.

Awada said real assets have historically played an important role in Middle Eastern economies and will continue to contribute to the region’s growth.

He highlighted the increasing sophistication of investor requirements and said PATRIZIA’s global platform and 42-year track record provide a foundation for developing tailored solutions. His focus will be on building long-term partnerships with investors across MENA and supporting their access to the firm’s global investment capabilities.

ADGM Base Supports Regional Expansion

Arvind Ramamurthy, Chief Market Development Officer at ADGM, said the appointment reflects PATRIZIA’s growth trajectory in the Middle East and its commitment to expanding from Abu Dhabi.

He also highlighted ADGM’s role as an international financial centre supporting firms establishing and scaling their regional presence from the UAE capital.
