Mukhopadhyay announced his new role through a LinkedIn post. He joins boAt after serving as Group Chief Financial Officer at WheelsEye, a position he held from March 2024 to August 2026.

Experience Across Finance Leadership Roles

Before joining boAt, Mukhopadhyay held several senior finance positions across industries.

He served as Chief Financial Officer at BirlaNu from June 2022 to October 2023 and was Chief Financial Officer at Somany Ceramics from January 2018 to June 2022.

His experience spans financial management, business finance and leadership roles across manufacturing, infrastructure and technology-led businesses.

Earlier Career in Industrial and Infrastructure Businesses

Mukhopadhyay previously served as Group Financial Controller at CNH Industrial between February 2016 and January 2018.

Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer, Construction Equipment, at Escorts, where he worked from September 2012 to February 2016.

From February 2008 to September 2012, Mukhopadhyay was associated with Cairn Oil and Gas, serving as Head of Finance across Joint Ventures, Business Finance, and Procurement & Supply Chain Management.

Nearly Three Decades of Professional Experience

Earlier in his career, Mukhopadhyay served as Vice President, Strategy, at Quippo Oil and Gas Infrastructure from August 2007 to January 2008.

He began his professional career at Tata Steel, where he spent nearly 11 years from August 1996 to July 2007. During this period, he progressed through multiple positions, rising from Senior Officer to General Manager.

Mukhopadhyay Joins boAt’s Leadership Team

With experience spanning finance, strategy, business operations and financial leadership across multiple sectors, Mukhopadhyay now takes charge of the finance function at boAt Lifestyle.

His appointment adds a senior finance leader to boAt’s leadership team as the consumer electronics and lifestyle brand continues to operate across India’s competitive technology and consumer products market.
