Siddharth Vaya Takes Charge as Senior Vice President and Business Head at Dot & Key

Dot & Key, the D2C skincare brand, has appointed Siddharth Vaya as Senior Vice President and Business Head. In his new role, Vaya will lead the business with a focus on strengthening category leadership, accelerating omnichannel expansion and building sustainable, profitable growth.

Vaya Brings Nearly Two Decades of FMCG Experience

Vaya brings close to two decades of experience across the FMCG and personal care sectors. His career has included senior leadership positions at established consumer brands, with experience spanning D2C businesses, traditional brands, multinational corporations and large Indian conglomerates.

His professional background covers sales, marketing and business leadership, giving him experience across different stages of brand and category development.

Moves From Beardo to Dot & Key

Vaya joins Dot & Key from Beardo, where he served as Chief Business Officer. At Beardo, he was involved in business leadership within the men’s grooming and personal care segment.

Before Beardo, Vaya held leadership responsibilities at Marico, where he served as Category Head for the Saffola Oils portfolio. He also led the male grooming category, contributing to the development of the business across the men’s personal care space.

Six Years With NIVEA India

Earlier in his career, Vaya spent more than six years with NIVEA India. During his tenure, he led the body lotions category and headed the NIVEA Men portfolio.

The role added to his experience in category management, brand building and consumer-focused growth within the personal care industry.

Vaya began his career with Reckitt Benckiser, where he spent nearly five years across various sales roles. This early experience established a foundation in sales and commercial operations that later expanded into marketing and broader business leadership.

Focus on Category and Omnichannel Growth

At Dot & Key, Vaya’s mandate will centre on strengthening the brand’s position within the skincare category while expanding its omnichannel presence. The role will also focus on creating sustainable and profitable growth as the brand continues to operate across India’s evolving beauty and personal care market.

Commenting on the appointment, Suyash Saraf, Co-founder and CEO, Dot & Key Skincare, said that Vaya brings a strong foundation in FMCG and category leadership, along with a track record of scaling consumer brands. Saraf also highlighted Vaya’s experience across sales, marketing and business, as well as his understanding of the evolving Indian consumer.

Vaya’s move to Dot & Key brings together experience across established FMCG businesses, personal care categories and newer D2C-led models. His background across sales, marketing and business leadership is expected to support the brand’s priorities around category development, distribution and profitable growth.
