Anushree Singh Takes Charge as Chief Human Resources Officer at Godrej Agrovet

Godrej Agrovet Limited (Godrej Agrovet), one of India’s largest farm-to-protein platforms, has appointed Anushree Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In her new role, Singh will lead the company’s people strategy and work closely with the leadership team to strengthen organisational capabilities, nurture talent and build a future-ready, high-performance organisation aligned with Godrej Agrovet’s long-term business objectives.

Singh to Lead People and Organisational Strategy

As CHRO, Singh will focus on strengthening Godrej Agrovet’s people agenda while supporting the company’s broader growth priorities. Her mandate will include talent development, organisational capability building and fostering a high-performance culture.

Her appointment comes as the company continues to focus on innovation and growth, with people and leadership capabilities forming an important part of its organisational strategy.

Leadership Welcomes Appointment

Welcoming Singh to the leadership team, Sunil Kataria, MD & CEO, Godrej Agrovet, said strengthening people and leadership capabilities remains a strategic priority as the company works towards its purpose of crafting abundance through innovation that empowers farmers and nourishes the nation.

Kataria highlighted Singh’s experience in people transformation, culture building and organisational excellence, adding that her leadership would support the next phase of Godrej Agrovet’s growth journey.

Over Two Decades of HR Leadership

Singh brings more than two decades of experience across people strategy, organisational transformation, culture building, M&A integrations, board management and leadership development.

Over the course of her career, she has worked on aligning people strategies with business objectives, leading large-scale organisational transformations, advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives and developing high-performance organisations across industries and geographies.

At Godrej Agrovet, her focus will be on further strengthening organisational capabilities and developing the people practices required to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Experience Across Energy, Industrial and Conglomerate Businesses

Before joining Godrej Agrovet, Singh served as Chief Human Resources Officer at JSW Energy, where she played a role in supporting the company’s growth and transformation.

Earlier, she held HR leadership positions at Avery Dennison, AkzoNobel and the Aditya Birla Group. Her experience across these organisations has given her exposure to both Indian and global markets and to a range of organisational and business environments.
