Kumaresan’s experience extends beyond project execution and operational leadership. He has also been involved in building global partnerships, supporting business growth and driving technology and digital transformation across project and business operations.

His extensive exposure to EPC execution and complex industrial projects has given him experience across the full project lifecycle, from planning and construction to business leadership and strategic growth.

Academic and Leadership Credentials

Kumaresan holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD Singapore.

He has also attended leadership programmes at Harvard Business School, Ross School of Business, and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta.

In his new role as Division Head of Utilities & Metals, Kumaresan will bring his decades of experience in EPC, industrial projects, business growth and organisational leadership to L&T’s Utilities & Metals business.
