Imogen Long Takes on Director Role at Edelman

Imogen Long has been appointed Director at Edelman, marking her latest leadership step at the communications firm.

Long has been with Edelman for nearly a decade, having joined the company in March 2018 as an Intern in Corporate Reputation. Since then, she has progressed through several roles spanning corporate affairs, strategic partnerships and account management.

Progression at Edelman

Before taking on her current role, Long served as Associate Director from April 2024 to August 2026. Prior to that, she held the position of Account Director between January 2023 and April 2024.

Her earlier roles at Edelman include Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Senior Account Executive, Account Executive and Assistant Account Executive, reflecting a steady progression through the agency’s account and communications teams.

Early Career in Communications

Long began her professional career at STOP THE TRAFFIK Global, where she worked as a Digital Communications Assistant and later as a Communications and Operations Intern.

Her appointment as Director represents the latest step in a career built largely within Edelman, where she has developed experience across corporate reputation, corporate affairs, strategic partnerships and client account management.
