Tech Mahindra Names Sarah Gideon as Global Head of Corporate Communications

Tech Mahindra has appointed Sarah Gideon as Global Head, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs. In her new role, Gideon will lead the company’s corporate communications and public affairs mandate across its global markets.

Gideon joins Tech Mahindra after a six-year stint at Flipkart, where she most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Head, Corporate Communications and CSR.

Leading Global Communications and Public Affairs

At Tech Mahindra, Gideon’s mandate will span corporate narrative, reputation management and engagement with key stakeholder groups across the company’s global markets.

Her role will involve shaping the organisation’s communications approach while supporting its engagement with stakeholders across different geographies.

Six Years at Flipkart

Before joining Tech Mahindra, Gideon spent six years at Flipkart. In her most recent position, she served as Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Head, Corporate Communications and CSR.

During her tenure, her responsibilities covered corporate affairs, communications and CSR, adding to her experience in managing communications for a large technology and digital organisation.

More Than a Decade at Infosys

Prior to Flipkart, Gideon spent more than a decade at Infosys, where she headed corporate communications.

Her career across Infosys and Flipkart has given her experience working with large, complex organisations and managing communications across multiple stakeholder groups.

Focus on Reputation and Stakeholder Engagement

Gideon brings experience across corporate communications and reputation management within technology and digital organisations.

Her areas of experience include corporate reputation, leadership communications, stakeholder engagement and communications for large, complex organisations. At Tech Mahindra, these capabilities will form part of her mandate as she takes charge of global corporate communications and public affairs.
