Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has appointed Bhaven Bhatt as President – Corporate Affairs, strengthening its leadership team with an executive who brings nearly three decades of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, infrastructure, and business development.

With over 27 years of professional experience, Bhatt has built a distinguished career managing government relations, policy engagement, infrastructure development and strategic business initiatives across some of India’s leading business groups.

Before joining Reliance Industries, he spent more than 18 years with the Essar Group, where he most recently served as Resident Director – CRG Group, Gujarat.

During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening stakeholder relationships and supporting the group’s corporate and regulatory initiatives in one of India’s most important industrial regions.

Over the course of his career at Essar, Bhatt held several senior leadership positions, including:

He also worked with Metdist Industries, handling coordination, statutory approvals and mineral exploration projects, building expertise in regulatory compliance and project execution early in his career.
