Manu Singh Appointed Managing Director & CEO of Aavas Financiers

Aavas Financiers Ltd has appointed Manu Singh as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) for a five-year term commencing September 19, 2026. Singh brings extensive experience across housing finance, consumer lending, business development and financial services.

Singh Takes Charge of Aavas Financiers

Singh joined Aavas Financiers as Chief Executive Officer in April 2026, before taking on the expanded Managing Director & CEO mandate.

His appointment places his experience in housing finance and lending at the centre of Aavas Financiers’ leadership as the company continues to operate in the financial services sector.

Extensive Experience at Kotak Mahindra Bank

Before joining Aavas Financiers, Singh spent a significant part of his career at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he most recently served as President – Business Head, Housing Finance.

During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding the bank’s housing finance business into a large-scale franchise, strengthening his experience across lending, business development and financial services.

Leadership Across Multiple Lending Segments

Earlier in his career, Singh held senior leadership positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Capital and ICICI Bank.

His experience spans multiple lending segments, including housing finance, personal loans, consumer finance, business loans and vehicle finance.

This cross-segment exposure has given Singh experience across both retail and consumer-focused financial services businesses.

Five-Year Leadership Term

Singh’s appointment as Managing Director & CEO is effective for a five-year term beginning September 19, 2026.

With his background across housing finance and other lending businesses, Singh will now lead Aavas Financiers in his expanded role as the company continues to build its presence in the housing finance market.
