Hershey India Names Kiran Thakur as Category Lead for Chocolate & Gifting

Hershey India has appointed Kiran Thakur as Category Lead – Chocolate & Gifting, marking a new chapter in her marketing career as she takes on responsibility for one of the company’s key consumer portfolios.

Thakur announced the move in a LinkedIn post, expressing her excitement about joining Hershey India and looking forward to working on the chocolate and gifting portfolio.

Stepping Into a New Leadership Role

In her new role, Thakur will contribute to the Chocolate & Gifting category at Hershey India, a segment that plays an important role in the company’s confectionery portfolio.

Sharing the announcement, she described the opportunity as an exciting new beginning and said she was looking forward to working on the portfolio while embracing ‘more fun and, of course, more chocolates.’

Acknowledging Mentors Along the Way

Reflecting on her professional journey, Thakur thanked several colleagues and mentors who had supported her career, including Kamy Devaguptapu, Mohit Sudan, Ravi Prakash Srivastava, Rahul Jain, Swarnim Bharadwaj and Neha Khicha.

She said she had been fortunate to have people who guided, backed and challenged her throughout her journey, highlighting the role mentorship had played in reaching this milestone.

Thakur’s appointment comes as she joins Hershey India’s marketing leadership, where she will work on the company’s chocolate and gifting portfolio.
