XS.com Names Kasem Hekal as Senior Business Development Manager

XS.com, a global FinTech and financial services provider, has appointed Kasem Hekal as Senior Business Development Manager in Dubai, UAE. The appointment strengthens the multi-asset broker’s commercial leadership as it looks to expand business opportunities, deepen client and partner relationships, and support its international growth.

Strengthening Business Development in Dubai

In his new role, Hekal will contribute to XS.com’s business development strategy from Dubai, a key international financial centre.

His responsibilities will include developing a pipeline of business opportunities, strengthening engagement with clients and partners, and identifying areas for further commercial development. He will work closely with XS.com’s commercial teams to provide market insights and support targeted business initiatives.

More Than 15 Years in Financial Services

Hekal brings more than 15 years of experience across financial services, including over a decade focused on FX and derivatives sales, account management and business development.

His career spans roles in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, with experience serving high-net-worth and institutional clients, leading sales teams and developing strategies based on market conditions and customer requirements.

Experience Across Leading Financial Firms

Before joining XS.com, Hekal held senior sales and business development positions at Accuindex MENA, ATFX and MultiBank Group. Earlier in his career, he also worked with GKFX and FXOpen.

Prior to moving into client-facing commercial roles, Hekal worked in financial operations and auditing. This experience gave him exposure to the operational processes supporting financial services businesses.

Hekal holds an MBA in Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
