Parag Milk Foods Appoints Phalgun Trivedi to Lead R&D, Quality and Food Safety

Parag Milk Foods Limited has appointed Phalgun Trivedi as Chief – R&D, Quality Control and Food Safety Officer. Trivedi brings more than three decades of experience across the global food, beverage and dairy industry, with expertise spanning quality, food safety, manufacturing operations and innovation.

The appointment comes as Parag Milk Foods continues to expand its portfolio across dairy, nutrition and protein categories while maintaining a focus on quality, food safety and consumer trust.

Three Decades of Global Food Industry Experience

Trivedi has held leadership positions across several major food and beverage organisations, including Unilever, Coca-Cola India, General Mills, Parle Agro, H.J. Heinz, Yum! Brands, Danone and Lactalis.

His career has covered India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, with responsibilities at local, regional and global levels. He has also lived and worked across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Expertise Across Quality and Food Safety

Throughout his career, Trivedi has worked across quality, food safety, manufacturing operations and innovation.

His experience includes developing and implementing quality and food safety systems across multiple markets, while working closely with manufacturing, operations and innovation teams.

Leading R&D, Quality Control and Food Safety at Parag Milk Foods

At Parag Milk Foods, Trivedi will lead the company’s R&D, Quality Control and Food Safety functions.

His mandate will include strengthening quality systems and food safety practices, while driving quality standards across the company’s portfolio and manufacturing ecosystem.

The role brings together technical and quality functions as the company continues to develop its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.

Academic Background

Trivedi holds a Bachelor of Science & Technology (B.Sc. Tech) in Food Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, formerly known as UDCT.

His appointment comes as Parag Milk Foods expands beyond traditional dairy into nutrition and protein categories, with R&D, quality control and food safety remaining key functions across its brands, products and manufacturing ecosystem.
