Dario Vitale Takes on Creative Leadership at Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani Accessories

The Armani Group has appointed Dario Vitale as Creative Director of Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani Accessories, marking a new chapter in the creative leadership of the two brands. Vitale is the first person outside the Armani family to take on the role.

Vitale brings extensive experience in the fashion industry, with a career spanning leading companies and a focus on product, quality, consistency and contemporary design.

A New Chapter for Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani Accessories

According to the Armani Group, Vitale’s appointment brings together innovation and brand identity while strengthening the Group’s creative structure.

His mandate will support the evolution of Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani Accessories while maintaining the aesthetic vision associated with the Giorgio Armani name.

Vitale on His New Role

Vitale said he was honoured to take on the dual responsibility and highlighted the importance of building on Armani’s established design heritage.

“I am honored to take on this dual role across Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani, and deeply grateful to Silvana and Leo for welcoming me into their world. Armani has a powerful legacy and unmistakable design language; a heritage that has spanned decades and shaped the history of fashion,” Vitale said.

“I approach all of this with a deep sense of responsibility and excitement as we build upon that rich foundation, defining a new era together,” he added.

Armani Leadership Welcomes Vitale

Silvana Armani, Head of Womenswear Design, and Leo Dell’Orco, Head of Menswear Design of the Armani Group, said Vitale’s experience would support Emporio Armani’s next phase while respecting its established character.

Vitale Joins with Immediate Effect

Vitale will join the Armani Group with immediate effect, taking on creative responsibility across Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani Accessories.

His appointment places his contemporary fashion experience within the Armani creative structure while the Group continues to evolve its brands around the design values and identity associated with the Armani name.
