YUNG Names Farah Kreidieh as Editor-in-Chief

YUNG, the UAE-born independent magazine and media platform, has appointed Farah Kreidieh as Editor-in-Chief, bringing more than two decades of experience across publishing, fashion and luxury in the Middle East to the publication.

Kreidieh joins YUNG following her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire Arabia. Her career spans the regional publishing and fashion landscape, complemented by an international editorial perspective.

YUNG Enters Next Stage of Growth

Founded in Dubai in 2022 by Sandra Yeghiazarian, YUNG covers fashion, music, art and culture. Since its launch, the platform has expanded from an independent magazine into a broader media and creative platform.

Kreidieh’s appointment comes as YUNG enters its next stage of development. In her new role, she will oversee the publication’s editorial direction and build on its work with emerging and established creative talent from the Arab world and its diaspora.

Sandra Yeghiazarian to Focus on Business Growth

Yeghiazarian will continue as Founder and CEO, with a focus on the company’s broader growth, new divisions, strategic partnerships and expansion beyond publishing.

“This is a very important moment for YUNG, and for me personally. I built YUNG independently in the UAE because I believed there was space for a title from this region with its own voice, perspective and cultural point of view,” said Yeghiazarian.

She added that bringing Kreidieh into the leadership team represents an important stage in YUNG’s growth while allowing her to focus on developing the business, new divisions and partnerships.

Kreidieh to Strengthen Editorial Direction

Kreidieh said the role presents an opportunity to lead an independent UAE title at a time when the region’s creative output is receiving increasing international attention.

“I’m incredibly excited to join YUNG and begin this next chapter. What excites me most is the opportunity to lead a homegrown, independent UAE title at a moment when the creative voice of this region has never felt more relevant globally,” she said.

Kreidieh also highlighted YUNG’s existing identity and its combination of regional roots with an international outlook. She said her priorities will include strengthening the publication’s editorial voice, championing talent and ideas shaping contemporary culture, and taking the platform into its next phase.

Continued Focus on Arab Creative Voices

Under Kreidieh’s editorial leadership, YUNG said it will continue focusing on voices from across the Arab world and its diaspora, while expanding its international creative network across fashion, music, art and contemporary culture.

Kreidieh assumes the Editor-in-Chief role in September 2026, while Yeghiazarian remains Founder and CEO. The leadership structure positions Kreidieh to oversee YUNG’s editorial evolution as the platform continues to develop its presence across the regional and international creative landscape.
