In a remarkable demonstration of advanced paediatric urological care, the expert team at Yashoda Hospitals performed an Anderson-Hynes pyeloplasty with DJ stenting, using a robotic procedure, on a 2-month-old male infant with left Pelvi-Ureteric Junction (PUJ) obstruction. The procedure was successfully performed by a minimally invasive robotic approach with no intraoperative complications and an uneventful postoperative course. The case underlines the experience of the hospital in treating complex conditions in very young patients. The infant was admitted on April 10, 2026, with a recognised diagnosis of PUJ obstruction, a condition that means obstruction of the flow of urine from the kidney to the ureter, which, if left untreated, can lead to kidney damage.
