Tania Kohli Takes Charge as Director, Corporate Communications at Dream Sports

Tania Kohli has taken on a new role as Director, Corporate Communications at Dream Sports, marking a new chapter in her communications career. Kohli announced the appointment through a LinkedIn post.

Progression at Dream Sports

Kohli has been with Dream Sports since November 2024, initially joining as Senior Manager, Corporate Communications. She moved into her new leadership role in August 2026.

In her new position, Kohli will lead the company’s corporate communications function, building on her experience across corporate communications, employee engagement and organisational initiatives.

Nearly Six Years at Zomato

Before joining Dream Sports, Kohli spent close to six years at Zomato, working across corporate communications, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), learning and development, and employer branding.

Her last role at Zomato was Lead, DE&I and Communications, where she worked on corporate DE&I and social communications, sustainability and ESG-related communication, internal communities and employee-focused initiatives.

Kohli also contributed to employer branding and communications initiatives at Zomato, covering digital platforms, internal engagement, recruitment campaigns and communication programmes across multiple markets. She began her Zomato journey as a Senior Associate in Recruitment in 2018.

Earlier Experience at Times Group

Kohli’s earlier career includes a stint at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) as Manager, Brand Solutions.

In the role, she worked on media solutions spanning print, digital and events for premium and luxury brands, adding experience in media, brand solutions and client-focused communications to her professional background.

New Communications Leadership Role

At Dream Sports, Kohli will be responsible for leading the company’s corporate communications function. Her move into the director-level role follows her progression within the organisation and brings together her experience across corporate communications, DE&I, employer branding and media solutions.

The appointment marks another step in Kohli’s career as she takes on a broader communications leadership mandate at Dream Sports.
