Swiggy Names Nikhil Vyas as VP – Strategy & Investments

Nikhil Vyas has joined Swiggy as Vice President – Strategy and Investments. The appointment strengthens the company’s group-level strategy function as it continues to pursue growth opportunities across its businesses.

Swiggy announced the move in a LinkedIn post, describing Vyas as bringing a focus on consumer-led strategy, first-principles thinking and AI-native business building.

Vyas to Lead Group-Level Strategy and Investments

At Swiggy, Vyas will lead strategy and investments at the group level, working closely with the company’s executive leadership and business heads.

His responsibilities will include driving key strategic growth initiatives, including the continued expansion of Swiggy’s food delivery ecosystem.

Swiggy said Vyas brings experience in advising consumer internet, retail and telecom businesses across India, Southeast Asia and the US.

14 Years at McKinsey

Before joining Swiggy, Vyas spent more than 14 years at McKinsey & Company, where he most recently served as Partner in the firm’s Technology, Media, and Telecom practice.

During his tenure at McKinsey, Vyas advised businesses across consumer internet, retail and telecom, working with leaders on strategy and growth initiatives. He previously held roles including Associate Partner, Engagement Manager and Associate at the consulting firm.

His experience spans strategic advisory, consumer-led growth and technology-focused business transformation.

Education and New Role at Swiggy

Vyas is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad.

In his new role, he will bring his consulting and sector experience to Swiggy’s leadership team, with a mandate covering strategy, investments and group-level growth priorities as the company continues to expand its food delivery ecosystem.
