Pankaj Sharma Exits MGID Following More Than Seven Years

Pankaj Sharma is moving on from MGID after more than seven years with the company. He had been serving as CEO and Director of MGID India since December 2021.

Sharma joined MGID in July 2019 as Country Head – India and was elevated to the role of CEO and Director in December 2021. During his tenure, he led the company’s India business, overseeing sales, operations and strategic partnerships.

Built MGID’s India Operations

Before taking on the CEO role, Sharma was responsible for establishing MGID’s India operations. His mandate included building the company’s revenue base, developing publisher partnerships and shaping its go-to-market strategy.

His tenure at MGID spanned more than seven years, during which he played a key role in developing the company’s presence and business operations in the Indian market.

Earlier Career

Prior to joining MGID, Sharma spent nearly four years at Zirca Digital Solutions. During his time there, he held roles including National Sales Head – Brand Solution & Native Ads and Regional Manager – Content & Brand Solution.

Earlier in his career, Sharma worked at Economic Times.com as Manager – Western Region. He also held advertising sales roles at Fever 104 FM, Planman Media, Pudhari Publications and HT Media.

With experience spanning digital advertising, sales, native advertising, publisher partnerships and business development, Sharma now moves on from MGID after more than seven years with the company.
