InvoiceCloud, a leading provider of digital billing and payment solutions, organised a Braille Storybook Making activity at its Hyderabad Global Capability Centre (GCC) as part of its employee volunteering and community engagement efforts in India. Organised in partnership with SoulAce, the activity brought together 65 employees from engineering, product, and operations teams to create seven tactile Braille storybooks for children at Devnar School for the Blind in Hyderabad. Employees contributed 65 volunteering hours, with each volunteer participating in a one-hour session focused on creating Braille and tactile storybooks. The activity involved transcribing children’s stories into Braille and adapting them into accessible formats, with tactile illustrations created using varied textures and raised graphics to make stories more engaging and accessible.
