DBS Bank Appoints Abhishek Rane as Assistant Vice President – Marketing

DBS Bank has appointed Abhishek Rane as Assistant Vice President – Marketing, bringing an experienced marketing professional into its team.

Rane announced the move through a LinkedIn post, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Assistant Vice President Marketing at DBS Bank!”

Rane joins DBS Bank from Bandhan Life, where he most recently served as Head – D2C | Digital Marketing. He joined Bandhan Life in June 2021 as Senior Manager – Marketing and subsequently took on responsibilities spanning digital marketing and direct-to-consumer initiatives.

During his tenure at Bandhan Life, Rane worked across digital marketing and D2C activities, contributing to the company’s marketing efforts and digital customer engagement.

Prior to joining Bandhan Life, Rane spent six years with Kantar, where he served as Account Director. His experience at the market research and data analytics company gave him exposure to brand, consumer and marketing-related mandates across clients and categories.

With experience spanning market research, marketing, digital and D2C, Rane brings a cross-functional background to his new role at DBS Bank.

His appointment comes as he takes on a marketing role within the banking sector, adding his experience in consumer-focused marketing and digital initiatives to DBS Bank’s marketing function.
