SocioClout Names Rahul Gupta as Chief Communications & Growth Officer

SocioClout has appointed Rahul Gupta as Chief Communications and Growth Officer. In his new role, Gupta will lead SocioClout SHAPE, the agency’s newly launched PR and reputation vertical.

SocioClout SHAPE brings together public relations, online reputation management (ORM), content, social media and influencer marketing under a unified reputation strategy. The vertical aims to help brands manage their reputation and communications across multiple touchpoints.

Gupta Joins from Shiprocket

Gupta joins SocioClout from Shiprocket, where he headed PR and corporate communications. He brings more than two decades of experience spanning journalism, corporate communications and public relations agencies.

Before Shiprocket, Gupta served as Account Director at Adfactors PR and Principal Consultant – Strategic Communications at First Partners. He has also held public relations and corporate communications roles at Kusum Group of Companies and Paytm.

Career in Journalism

Gupta began his career in journalism as a Technology Analyst at CyberMedia before joining afaqs! as Senior Correspondent at The Mobile Indian. He later worked as an anchor and producer at NDTV Tech Prime and as an editor at Guiding Media.
