Veteran communications professional Bhaskar Majumdar passed away on Thursday morning following a prolonged illness, bringing to a close a career spanning around 25 years in strategic communications and reputation management. Over the course of his career, Majumdar worked with several prominent Indian and global organisations, building expertise across corporate communications, public relations and reputation management. A Career Across Leading Organisations Majumdar held communications leadership roles at Reliance Industries, ESPN Star Sports, APCO Worldwide, Vaishnavi Advisory and Adfactors PR, contributing to strategic communications initiatives across diverse industries. Most recently, he served as Head of Marketing Communication, CSR and Digital at Egis India and South Asia, a position he had held since 2020.
