Prachi Kaushik Takes Charge as DGM, Corporate Communications at Schneider Electric

Prachi Kaushik has joined Schneider Electric as Deputy General Manager, Corporate Communications, marking a new chapter in her communications career. She announced the move last week.

In her new role, Kaushik will work on corporate communications for Schneider Electric, a global energy technology company focused on electrification, automation and digital intelligence.

Kaushik on Schneider Electric’s Communications Opportunity

Sharing the move, Kaushik said she was drawn to the breadth of Schneider Electric’s work across industries, businesses and homes, particularly its focus on efficiency and sustainability.

She described the opportunity as a communications brief with significant scope for storytelling and narrative building, as she takes on the new mandate.

Moves From Signify

Kaushik joins Schneider Electric after serving as Head of PR and Integrated Communications at Signify, where she worked from January 2024 to August 2026.

At Signify Greater India, she led PR and integrated communications, working with leadership on brand narrative, corporate reputation and industry positioning. Her responsibilities included media engagement, CEO and CXO communications, leadership visibility and integrated campaigns.

Experience at Haier Appliances India

Before Signify, Kaushik was Head of PR and Communications at Haier Appliances India. She led corporate and brand communications across product innovation, corporate reputation and leadership visibility.

During her tenure, she also built and institutionalised the company’s communications function.

Product PR Experience at OPPO

Prior to Haier, Kaushik spent close to three years at OPPO as Manager, Product PR.

She managed communications for the company’s flagship smartphone portfolio, including product PR strategy for launches and brand campaigns. Her responsibilities also covered media and influencer engagement.

Agency Experience Across Major Brands

Kaushik previously worked at Genesis BCW as Account Manager, where she worked on the Maruti Suzuki account. Her responsibilities included PR strategy, media engagement, product launches, spokesperson strategies and developing story pipelines.

She began her agency career at Edelman, working across automotive accounts including TVS, Nissan, Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors. She also spent time supporting Nissan’s communications team.

Began Communications Career at Perfect Relations

Kaushik started her communications career at Perfect Relations in 2016, working across FMCG, CSR and corporate mandates.

Her role involved media relations, campaign execution, strategic planning and client servicing for brands including Walmart, Dabur, Dish TV, Airtel and Google.

New Corporate Communications Mandate

With experience spanning corporate communications, public relations, product communications, leadership visibility and integrated campaigns, Kaushik now takes on the DGM, Corporate Communications role at Schneider Electric.

Her appointment brings together her agency and in-house experience as she begins working on communications for a company operating across electrification, automation and digital intelligence.
