Smita Basu Roy has joined PepsiCo as Head of Communications for India and South Asia, taking charge of the company’s communications mandate across the region. Leads Communications and Branding In her new role, Basu Roy will lead Corporate Communications, Digital Communications, including web and social media, Corporate Branding and Internal Communications. Brings Corporate Communications Experience Prior to joining PepsiCo, Basu Roy was heading Communications at Godrej Enterprises Group, where she led the organisation’s communications function. She has also headed Corporate Communications at Voltas Limited, adding to her experience across corporate communications and brand reputation. Basu Roy’s appointment at PepsiCo marks another step in her communications career, with her new mandate spanning multiple functions across India and South Asia.
