Avanade India has appointed Achal Kataria as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. The appointment comes as the Microsoft specialist looks to accelerate its growth in India and help organisations translate investments in artificial intelligence and cloud technologies into measurable business outcomes. Kataria Brings Three Decades of Experience Kataria brings more than three decades of experience across technology services, enterprise transformation, global operations and commercial leadership. Before joining Avanade, he led Cognizant’s India business, where he was responsible for driving growth, managing strategic client relationships and expanding the company’s presence in the Indian market. Earlier in his career, Kataria held senior leadership positions at EXL, Tech Mahindra, Genpact and Hughes Software Systems.
