Manish Aggarwal Exits SPNI; Anurati Tandon to Lead Digital B2B Business

Manish Aggarwal has stepped down as Head – Digital B2B Business at Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI), bringing an end to his nearly seven-year stint with the company. Anurati Tandon, who previously served as Chief of Staff – CEO’s Office, will take over the digital B2B mandate.

Tandon has been associated with the CEO’s office, where she worked on several critical projects and initiatives, collaborating closely with teams across revenue and business growth.

Announcing the leadership transition in an internal note, Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer, Sony Pictures Networks India, said Tandon’s strategic capabilities and cross-functional experience would help her lead the business through its next phase of growth.

“In her current role, Anurati has driven several critical projects and initiatives within the CEO’s office, working closely across revenue and business growth. I am confident that her strategic acumen and cross-functional experience will help her lead this business into its next phase of growth,” Kaul said.

Tandon will continue supporting the CEO’s office for a few months while transitioning into her new mandate as part of Kaul’s leadership team.

Manish Aggarwal Moves On After Seven Years

Aggarwal has decided to move on from SPNI to pursue new opportunities after nearly seven years with the company.

During his tenure, he played a key role in building and strengthening SPNI’s digital business, including its B2C and B2B subscription, YouTube and licensing businesses at SonyLIV.

Kaul acknowledged Aggarwal’s contribution to the company, thanking him for his leadership and commitment during his tenure.

“Manish has played a pivotal role in building and strengthening our Digital Business, building and strengthening B2C & B2B Subscriptions, YouTube and Licensing businesses at SonyLIV,” Kaul said.

He also wished Aggarwal the best for his future endeavours.

Leadership Transition in Digital Business

The transition comes as SPNI continues to strengthen its digital business and expand its focus across subscription, content distribution and digital monetisation.

With Tandon taking over the Digital B2B Business, the company will now look to build on the foundations established during Aggarwal’s tenure while leveraging her experience across revenue, business growth and cross-functional initiatives.
