Snabbit Names Madhavi Kochar as Vice President – Communications

Snabbit has appointed Madhavi Kochar as Vice President – Communications, bringing aboard a seasoned communications leader with two decades of experience as the company strengthens its corporate and brand communications during its next phase of growth.

Kochar joins Snabbit after an 11-year tenure at Amazon, where she held several senior communications leadership roles across the company’s India business.

Leading Communications at Snabbit

In her new role, Kochar will oversee external and internal communications, including corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement and employee communications.

Her appointment comes as Snabbit continues expanding its operations across multiple Indian cities while building its presence in the emerging quick-service home services category.

A New Chapter After Amazon

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Kochar reflected on her personal journey, describing the appointment as a meaningful milestone after beginning her career as a young mother balancing family responsibilities with her professional ambitions.

At Amazon, she most recently served as Head – IN Stores Communications. Before that, she led India Corporate Communications, helping shape communications across one of the country’s largest technology and e-commerce companies.

Bringing Two Decades of Communications Experience

Kochar joins Snabbit with around 20 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations and reputation management.

At Snabbit, her mandate will include shaping the company’s corporate narrative, strengthening stakeholder engagement and developing internal communications as the business continues to scale.

Supporting Snabbit’s Expansion

Snabbit currently operates across more than 200 micro-markets spanning the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

The company says it has crossed one crore lifetime jobs and recorded more than 1.15 lakh jobs in a single day during June, underscoring the pace of its growth.

Commenting on the appointment, Aayush Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Snabbit, said communications plays a strategic role in building trust, strengthening relationships and keeping stakeholders connected as the company develops a new category.

He added that Kochar’s experience and judgment would help support Snabbit’s ambition of building an enduring institution.
