A new media network is set to launch its news broadcasting landscape across India, with Macis Group of Companies gearing up to launch five satellite News & Current Affairs channels and create more than 2'500 direct and indirect job opportunities in the media, technical and operational sectors. Founded by Chairman Madhaw Ciran, Macis Group has begun extensive groundwork for the launch of the news network, which will include four regional-language channels in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, along with a national English news channel aimed at audiences across India. The broadcast venture will be led by industry veteran S Divaakar, who has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer.
