Kunal Sharma Steps Up as Vice President at BBDO Group India

Kunal Sharma has joined BBDO Group India as Vice President, bringing nearly two decades of experience across account management, brand services and client servicing. Based in Gurugram, Sharma joins the agency after a stint at Cheil India.

Sharma announced his appointment on LinkedIn, saying he was looking forward to working with the team, taking on new challenges and learning from experienced professionals across the industry.

Experience Across Leading Agencies

Before joining BBDO Group India, Sharma served as General Manager at Cheil India, a position he took up in March 2024.

Prior to Cheil India, Sharma spent nearly six years at MagicCircle Communications. He joined the agency as Associate Vice President in 2018 and was elevated to Vice President and Servicing Head in 2021.

His earlier career includes roles at ADK, Publicis India and Lowe Lintas. At Publicis India, he served as Client Services Director, while his experience at Lowe Lintas spans more than five years across two stints, including a role as Senior Brand Services Director.

Sharma began his career with a brief stint at Rediffusion DY&R, followed by roles at Facts n Fiction and Capital Advertising.

New Leadership Role at BBDO

At BBDO Group India, Sharma will bring his extensive experience in account management, client servicing and brand services to his new leadership role.

His appointment adds to the agency’s senior talent as Sharma takes on the opportunity to work with BBDO Group India’s teams and clients while continuing to build on his experience across the advertising and communications industry.
