After 17 Years at Unilever, Guntas Randhawa Begins a New Chapter

Guntas Randhawa has announced her exit from Unilever after a 17-year stint with the company, bringing an end to a career that spanned customer development, brand management and global brand leadership.

In a LinkedIn post, Randhawa reflected on her journey at Unilever, saying she joined the company fascinated by brands and leaves with an even deeper appreciation for people.

Most Recently Led VMS Division

Randhawa was most recently serving as India Head, Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) Division, Hindustan Unilever, a position she took up in January 2023.

She joined Unilever in 2009 as a Business Leadership Trainee and went on to take on a range of roles across the organisation over the course of her career.

Before her current role, Randhawa served as Global Brand Director from January 2019 to April 2023. In this position, she led the creation and global rollout of core innovation projects across South Asia, Southeast Asia and Africa.

Career Spanning Brand and Customer Development

Randhawa also spent nearly six years as a Brand Manager, working across campaigns, activations, consumer and trade promotions, as well as cross-functional project delivery.

Earlier in her career, she served as Customer Development Manager for Modern Trade in Delhi NCR, where she was responsible for quarterly growth plans, regional distribution and sales delivery. She also led a team of more than 200 HUL and third-party employees.

Reflecting on her time with the company, Randhawa highlighted the people, teams, debates, failures and friendships that shaped her professional journey.

Her exit marks the end of a 17-year association with Unilever, during which she worked across multiple functions and geographies and took on leadership responsibilities spanning brand building, innovation, customer development and business growth.
