Blue Dart Names Rabindra Purohit as Vice President

Blue Dart Express has appointed Rabindra Purohit as Vice President – Legal, Compliance and Company Secretary, and Compliance Officer, effective October 10, 2026. He will also serve as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) and join the company’s senior management team.

Purohit brings nearly 25 years of experience across legal, secretarial, compliance and corporate governance functions. He is a qualified company secretary and a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He also holds a law degree from Berhampur University.

Before joining Blue Dart, Purohit held legal, compliance and governance roles at Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation, NIVEA India, Vodafone India and Bharti Del Monte Foods.

His professional experience spans corporate governance, environmental, social and governance (ESG), ethics and compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, data privacy, intellectual property and cross-border legal operations.

Purohit has also worked on technology-enabled legal solutions and served as visiting faculty at law schools, combining corporate legal experience with academic engagement.

His appointment brings extensive legal and governance expertise to Blue Dart’s senior leadership as the company continues to oversee its regulatory, compliance and corporate governance responsibilities.
