DreamStreet Appoints Varun Mundhra as Head of Marketing and Growth

DreamStreet, part of the Dream11 family, has appointed Varun Mundhra as Head of Marketing and Growth. Mundhra announced the move in a LinkedIn post, sharing his ambition to build a brand from the ground up after years of working with client brands and running his own venture.

Reflecting on the transition, Mundhra wrote that after building brands for clients and running one himself, he was now looking to build a brand “from the first brick”.

The appointment marks a new chapter in Mundhra’s career, bringing his experience across brand marketing, media strategy and business development to DreamStreet as he takes on responsibility for marketing and growth.

Varun Mundhra’s Marketing and Media Experience

Mundhra joins DreamStreet from Motilal Oswal Financial Services, where he held several senior marketing and media leadership positions. From March 2025 to July 2026, he served as Head of Group Media and Innovations and Senior Vice President.

Before that, he was Head of Marketing and Senior Vice President from April 2024 to March 2025, having previously served as Vice President, Marketing, from May 2022 to May 2024.

During his tenure at Motilal Oswal Financial Services, his responsibilities included brand identity, website and app development, and media planning and buying across television, print, outdoor and digital platforms.

His experience at the financial services company combined brand development with integrated media planning, providing exposure to multiple aspects of marketing strategy and execution.

Career Across Agencies and Entrepreneurship

Before joining Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Mundhra worked with agencies including The Glitch, White Rivers Media, Isobar, Jack in the Box Worldwide, Ogilvy and Dentsu Webchutney.

Across these roles, he gained experience in brand marketing, media, client relationships and business development, working across different areas of the advertising and marketing industry.

Mundhra’s entrepreneurial experience dates back to 2009, when he founded Varun’s Blue Pencil Studio while still in college. The venture marked an early step in his journey as a brand builder and entrepreneur.

His move to DreamStreet brings together his agency background, experience in financial services marketing and entrepreneurial exposure. At the company, he will take on the role of Head of Marketing and Growth, with a focus on building the brand and advancing its marketing efforts.
