F5 Names Mohammed Al Tamimi to Strengthen Gulf Sales Operations

F5 has appointed Mohammed Al Tamimi as Senior Director, Field Sales Management for the Gulf region, strengthening its regional leadership as the company continues to support organizations in delivering and securing applications and APIs across diverse environments.

In his new role, Al Tamimi will help strengthen F5’s local team and support organizations in managing, delivering and securing applications and APIs wherever they operate.

Al Tamimi brings more than 20 years of experience in building high-performing teams, developing sustainable partner ecosystems and scaling businesses across the Middle East, Türkiye and Africa (META). He is recognized for his integrity and commitment to employee development, customer success and partner collaboration.

F5 continues to expand its portfolio to address evolving enterprise application and security requirements. Among its recent developments is the F5 AI Security Platform, designed to provide continuous visibility, governance and protection across enterprise AI applications, models, agents and the APIs connecting them.

Through an adaptive approach to governing, discovering, testing and protecting enterprise AI workloads, the platform extends F5’s Application Delivery and Security Platform (ADSP) strategy to enterprise AI. The development reflects the growing need for organizations to secure AI deployments while managing increasingly complex application environments.

Before joining F5, Al Tamimi served as Regional Sales Leader for Akamai’s Enterprise Security Group in META, where he established and expanded the regional operation. He previously spent six years at Rubrik as Regional Director for META, joining as the company’s first employee in the region and helping scale its business, team and channel presence.

Earlier in his career, Al Tamimi held leadership positions at Palo Alto Networks and worked with Commvault, Dell, HP and Microsoft, building experience across enterprise technology and cybersecurity.
