beIN SPORTS Names Kaylyn Kyle as Executive Presenter for MENA Football Coverage

beIN MEDIA GROUP (beIN), the global sports, entertainment and media group, has appointed former Canadian international footballer Kaylyn Kyle as Executive Presenter for its flagship sports network, beIN SPORTS, based in Doha.

In her new role, Kyle will lead beIN SPORTS’ English-language football coverage across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Returning to beIN SPORTS

Kyle joins beIN SPORTS following four years as part of Major League Soccer’s (MLS) broadcast team, bringing experience as both a former professional footballer and sports broadcaster.

The appointment also marks a return to beIN for Kyle, who previously contributed to the network’s English-language coverage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

As Executive Presenter, Kyle will become the face of beIN SPORTS’ English-language MENA channels, leading studio programming and coverage across the network’s extensive portfolio of football rights.

She is expected to make her first studio appearance on Saturday, August 29, presenting the Premier League clash between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.

Strengthening English-Language Coverage

Mohammed Al-Bader, Managing Director, beIN Channels – MENA, said the network was delighted to welcome Kyle back to beIN SPORTS.

Al-Bader highlighted Kyle’s experience at the highest level of football, combined with her broadcasting expertise and familiarity with beIN, describing these as valuable additions to the network’s English-language team.

He added that the network looks forward to Kyle leading its English-language coverage and bringing her insight and experience to viewers across the MENA region.

Kyle Brings Playing and Broadcasting Experience

Commenting on her appointment, Kaylyn Kyle said she was excited to return to beIN SPORTS and take on the role of Executive Presenter.

Kyle noted that having previously been part of the team during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ made her return to Doha particularly meaningful. She also said she looked forward to working with the team again and connecting with beIN SPORTS viewers across the region.

A former midfielder, Kyle earned 101 caps for Canada during a decade-long professional career. She represented Canada at two FIFA Women’s World Cups and won a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Following her playing career, Kyle transitioned into broadcasting and established a career in sports media, including her four-year stint with MLS’ broadcast team.

Her appointment adds further experience to beIN SPORTS’ English-language presentation team as the network continues its football coverage across the MENA region.
