OpenAI has appointed Mili Kapoor as its Consumer Marketing Lead, adding a seasoned marketing professional to its growing global team as the artificial intelligence company sharpens its focus on consumer engagement and brand building. Kapoor announced the development through a LinkedIn update. Prior to joining OpenAI, Kapoor served as Product Marketing Lead - iPad at Apple, where she was responsible for driving product marketing initiatives for one of the company’s flagship product categories. She held the role from December 2024 until June 2026. Kapoor brings nearly two decades of experience across consumer marketing, brand strategy, and business communications. Before Apple, she held leadership positions at Philips, Nestlé, and Meta, working across categories including personal health, food and beverage, pet care, and digital platforms.
